We sold almost everything we owned and moved across the country onto a sailboat along with our dog, Pilot, and our two cats, Dreolin and Toby. We are sharing our experiences as we go, learning and adapting to this drastic lifestyle change! Follow us as we sail our little family from Seattle, WA to Boston, MA.
Kyle
Born and raised in Minnesota, Kyle has always been the outdoorsy type. Growing up, he spent many summers sailing the St. Croix River and dreamed of one day owning his own sailboat. Also an avid gamer, Kyle's desktop is the only thing he misses about life on land.
Stephanie
Stephanie grew up in a small town in Litchfield County in Connecticut. Her family owned powerboats in the past but she never sailed before Arrowleaf. Stephanie loves traveling and has been to over 30 States, Canada, France, Thailand, and Nepal before giving up life on land.
Dreolin, also called kitten, is a snowshoe siamese with a shy personality. We often joke that he has a strict quota for attention because he's very hot and cold with his neediness. It took him about two weeks to warm up to his new life at sea. He is leashed trained and loves lounging about the boat.

Pilot
Pilot is a four year old chow chow who lives up to the stubborn chow stereotype! He loves to sit at our feet and falls asleep as soon as the engine is turned on. He does not enjoy long walks nor the beach, but is fine with being carted around in our provision wagon. It takes daily brushing to upkeep his coat, it's a lot of fluff!
Toby
Toby is a fourteen year old tabby Kyle and Stephanie adopted in Minnesota. Toby is a lovable goof that seems to be always hungry and he doesn't mind letting you know.
